KELK is delighted to present and reveal its brand in various events, worldwide.

KELK participates in a number of international industry trade shows and events each year to help stay connected with our customers, while
building new relationships. In 2014, we participated in seven trade shows and two conferences, relative to the steel and aluminum industries.

Our sales representative team and agents participate in these various international events to grasp a better understanding of other solution
providers, product suppliers, professionals and decision makers, while promoting our equipment and services to both our current and
future consumers.


KELK was invited to join a trade mission to PRC by The Honourable Ed

Fast, Minister of International Trade

In China, during November 5th to November 9th, 2014, KELK was invited by Honourable Ed Fast,
Minister of International Trade to APEC Leader's Week Summit, trade mission. This event accompanied Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper (2006 - 2015) and representatives of Canadian companies.

As an important business event during the APEC Leader's Week, the Summit is the premier platform for the APEC Economic Leaders and business executives to discuss Asia-Pacific economic issues and promote regional trade, investment and cooperation. It is the most influential and high-level business event in the region.

During the trade mission in Beijing, the CCBC was honored to play a role in Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s (2006 - 2015) third visit to China. The CCBC hosted the Canada China Business Forum luncheon on November 8 in Beijing. More than 400 guests heard speeches by the Prime Minister and by ZHOU Xiaochuan, Governor of the People’s Bank of China.

We invited several steel company executive officers to join in this meeting, to strengthen the relationship between KELK and various steel companies. Eric Kejun Liang, the regional sales representative of KELK invited fourteen high level managers including Baosteel and WISCO from twelve Chinese OEMs and other steel companies to attend the business forum and luncheon.

KELK had the opportunity of signing two agreements witnessed by
Prime Minister Stephen Harper  in Beijing during the trade mission:

  • First agreement: Long-term strategic co-operation agreement with Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO) Engineering & Technology Group Measurement & Control Company for KELK to supply its state-of-the-art electronic measurement equipment for new builds or revamping of steel rolling projects.

  • Second agreement: Long-term strategic co-operation agreement with Design Research Institute Company Limited at the University of Science & Technology, Beijing, to use KELK’s equipment in new builds or revamping of steel rolling projects.

    & Control Co.
